Miss Abby had her 4Th birthday on May 17...We had a cute little party at Gymboree Gym w/ 6 of her closest pals!

She had her last day of 3 yr pre-school last Friday! She had a GREAT school year and is a changed girl!

Here's some pics of our trip to SC...

Sorry i haven't posted in awhile im soo behind..3 of my kids are sick..BLAH I HATE SICK!

We met up w/ my Adoptive mom Friend Katie and her twins Bray and Ana who live 10 miles from my In-laws...We have known them for over 2 years now..They are GREAT friends!

We played Granny's organ..Look how serious her face is!!

Put our head in a lions mouth ;o)

YES we even saw a few Palm trees but it was pretty cold to wear our bikini's!

Played w/ Grannys lawn bunny until she broke it...She broke the old one too when she was 18 months old LOL

We soaked up some SC sun...Just a mom and her girl!

I walked into the bathroom yesterday...Abby put a pantyliner on her Dinosaur..

I called Abby over and asked "why is your dino wearing that?"

Her response " Because he was leaking".... (its her bath toy and he does leak)

I think commericals during my soap opera are telling tooo much!

OK so my new "toy" is my Sony Reader....My bday is next week and i told my hubby (yes a few weeks early) ...YEAH I TOLD him what i wanted...sometimes a girl has to just get to the point!!

If you don't know what a Sony Reader is its a digital book... What i love about this is that i can download new books through my local library @ 1am if you want..IT ROCKS!!

I have read 8 books in 3 weeks....yes in between raising 4 kids and all that jazz..I'm a night owl too which helps!!

So if you don't see me online much I'm reading a novel or two .....

Do you have a book i should read??? let me know!

A day in the life of Lamby (Abby's Lovey)

Lamby was given to Abby when she came home from Guatemala...she has a rattle in her tummy and was bright white in the beginning..

~Lamby is good at holding bottles!

~ Picnics

~ Stroller rides

~ Swinging

~A bad thing happened to Lamby in August 2009 she went missing!

Thank God for Ebay i found a "new lamby"...

Abby sure missed her Old Lamby ...New lamby tried pretty hard to replace the love in Abby's heart...(notice how white new lamby is?LOL)

~But Happy Ending we found "old Lamby" 6 LONG weeks later (in the hidden toy box pouch! )

Yes now Abby has something to wipe her nose on again!

~ oh we didn't get rid of New Lamby she now hangs out w/ Abby's Dinosaurs..

In fact she's dating Mr.Triceratops!

I don't know if your children watch Dinosaur Train on PBS but ABBY loves it...Its very educational to so i learn alot as well!!

Last night before she went to bed she made her own Dinosaur Train!

If you look closely you can see she used her Brothers old Hot Wheels and GI Joe jeeps as train cars! Each dino has a ticket too!

And the last train car is her Dirt Devil Vacuum because what else do you put a T-Rex on?

Polar Express Train ride..

On Friday night we took Abby on the Polar Express Train ride ..If you have this in your area YOU MUST TAKE YOUR CHILD!

I feel that children ages 3-10 would LOVE it AND ADULTS TOO!

ITS seriously almost impossible to get a pic of all 4 kids together!!

Ever year i put up 4 Christmas trees..

One 7ft and two 4 ft and one little 2 feet one!

I love trees!

Each tree has a different theme!

Well this year Abby wanted a Dinosaur tree!! DUH right?!

So i couldn't find Dino ornaments (geez really? LOL) so i took the small Dino toys and put hooks around their necks...

I labeled where i put the Dino's so you could see..UGLY? YOU BET !

She is SUCH a GREAT FRIEND that she held her baby in so i could have my baby first!! HA HA (that's what she tells me!)

Abby's class had their Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday and i had the privilege of helping out!

She attends a Co-Op pre-School so parents help run it to keep tuition low!

My oldest Ashley is now 16 and a Junior ...She is attending her first college Open House this Friday...

She will be making the 4 hour drive to Ohio University with her Father...

Many thoughts go through my head as i type this...

~ Where did 16 years go?

~ When did i become so old? lol

~ Ashley was my most "SPIRITED,STUBBORN,INDEPENDENT" Child. Will she stay this way?

My Dear friend Aimee @She's Going Bananas asked us adoptive parents what we like about Children...I have 4 children who are all unique in their own way...Since i have teens as well I'd break it down some by tot and teen..oh and preteen too!

~ Abby age 3-I love that tots don't care what they say THE JUST SAY it.I only wish i could be that bold!

-They see the simplest things and are in awe and wonder...A box can create hours of fun!

-They really could careless about making friends they think their mommy and daddy are the cat's meow

-Everything is new in their eyes and i sit and learn so much from that!

Grants Age 11 (pre-teen years) - These years are VERY VERY hard on a young one..

- You aren't scared to try new things at this age, but friends do start to influence you more.

- You still think your parents are the best! I still get hugs and kisses

- You still care about what your parents think ...;o)

- You still have innocent thoughts..ha!

Bradley and Ashley -(The teen years) hmmmm what do i say about these years? OMG HELP ME! lol

- You still need your parents BUT WONT ADMIT IT!

- The world is your oyster

- You still kiss your Mom and dad but only in private!

- Sometimes you ask your parents for advice ha!

-Because I'm a young mother i can relate to sooo much that they go through!

So you see each stage in my children's life i have loved and SOME NOT SOO MUCH!

I really cant believe it but 3 years has flown by...

On Nov 10Th we received word that we got pink and could forever hold our baby Nov 19Th 2006....

I was eating lunch at the Mexican restaurant here in town (how fitting)

Ken called with the news I was in total shock i couldn't even finish my lunch ( you know I'm in shock if i don't finish my food)

We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast ,went to the Cleveland Orchestra and had a YUMMY dinner in Little Italy!

SUNDAY: DISNEY's MAGIC KINGDOM

I was very excited to take Abby to spend a day at The Magic Kingdom...I think its a once in a life time MUST DO...i have been blessed by going 7 times in my life!

BUT NEXT TIME WE WILL BRING KEN, STAY ON RESORT ALL WEEK AND, BUY MEAL PASSES! lol

Friday: adventures in Florida..

On Friday we met our Friends who just moved from Ohio to Florida in June..Tana,Keith and Ana for a day at the ocean!

Abby loves playing in the sand but not a fan of ocean water in her face!!

but i will admit Salt water in the eyes isnt fun..ouch!

Im home....What a great time Abby and I had in Florida....

The state had record breaking highs of 96 for that time of year....I WAS HOTTTTTTTTT and I DONT MEAN SEXY!!! (more like smelly!)

Over the course of 5 days we packed in ALOT of friends and fun...

Each day this week i will post a ADVENTURE from the trip.....

THURSDAY -the long awaited T-REX Cafe in Downtown Disney...

this restaurant was AMAZING and it was right up Abbys dino lovin alley!

Build a Dino of course...A Triceratops ...

T-Rex is very scary and GRRRR's at the door and the lights go down..Scary but not to Abby i guess!!

Apple Farm fieldtrip

Abby had her first field trip Tuesday to a apple farm with her Pre-School...IT WAS soooo FUN!

NOw off to sunny Florida where its sunny and 90!!

My Daughter Ashley is a Junior this year and my mind keeps thinking

"WHEN the heck did that happen?"..

She is going with her Step-father to her 1st College Open House in Nov to Case Western Reserve (kens Alma Mater)..

SERIOUSLY wasn't she just going on her first Trick or treat?

She just got her first job and starts next week..Its seasonal for 6 weeks working in a pumpkin patch painting kids faces!

All artists have to start somewhere!

Its a great book for adopted children as well...I have YET to get through this book without crying ....Abby thinks I'm nuts when she asks me to read it!!!

PBS has a new show that started today called Dinosaur train ...

Dinosaur Train- embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains.

The series encourages basic scientific thinking and skills as the audience learns about life science, natural history and paleontology.

Each of the 40 half-hour episodes features Buddy, an adorable preschool age Tyrannosaurus Rex, and his adoptive Pteranodon family as they board the Dinosaur Train and embark on whimsical voyages through prehistoric jungles, swamps, volcanoes and oceans.

My Abby is in LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE with this show....Its main character is adopted by another dino family......I HAD NO CLUE IT WAS ABOUT adoption so im SOO HAPPY!!!

Abby went to school for only one hr today with her father...It wasn't the OFFICIAL full (2hr) day..that's Friday...

The first thing she asked for was ..SNACK !!! (yeah thats my kid!) ....And loved play time with the dinos with the boys ...(OMG SHE LOVES hanging WITH BOYS over girls...HA THAT'S MY KID!)

I'm in a HUGE funk lately..I'm not sure 100% but i feel my life is at a HUGE standstill....
